GEA's Geo Thermal technology uses the heat transfer of ground source energy for the heating of a swimming pool or spa. GEA's cost efficient alternative to solar pool heating comes through the application of this Geo Thermal energy using GEA's GeoEnergy heat pumps. It is over 60% cheaper than conventional gas boiler systems and is compatible with solar heating installations. Solar heating however can only on average heat a pool for up to 8 months of the year.
